Squirrel Pot Pie Recipe

This squirrel recipe makes a great Squirrel Pot Pie Recipe without preservatives (no need for them because this won’t stick around for long in your refrigerator).

Ingredients
  

  • 2 9- inch deep dish frozen pie crusts thawed
  • 1 15 oz. can mixed vegetables drained
  • 2 cups squirrel meat cooked and diced
  • 1 10.75 oz. can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a bowl, combine the mixed vegetables, squirrel meat, cream of chicken soup and milk.
  • Pour mixture into one of the pie crusts.
  • Turn over the other crust and pop it out of the tin and onto the top of the filled pie.
  • Seal the edges and poke holes in top crust.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

Notes

You could choose to substitute Cream of Mushroom Soup for Cream of Chicken Soup You could also choose to top your squirrel pot pie with sliced mushrooms and cheese
