To Pee or Not to Pee While You’re Deer Hunting
Whether you’re a first-time deer hunter or a seasoned pro, there’s always something new to learn. One of the most important things to know is how to answer the question: Can I pee while deer hunting?
The short answer to this question is, Yes, Yes, you can! Peeing while deer hunting is actually a pretty common thing, and there’s no shame in doing it. In fact, most hunters do it at some point or another.
There are a few things to keep in mind when you’re planning on relieving yourself while out hunting though.
First of all, make sure you have a good plan for where you’re going to go. No hunters want to accidentally pee on their hunting gear or in or around their hunting blind, or deer hunting treestand.
In recent years there’s a lot of studies that have shown considerable evidence that human urine doesn’t bother deer.
Truthfully, I was one of those hunters who religiously brought with me a pee bottle into the deer woods. I figured it would come in handy if I needed to relieve myself.
Now some years later, I’ve learned that the best way to manage the situation of having to pee while deer hunting was for me to just give up the pee bottle. I had decided a few years ago to give up using a pee bottle. The only thing that works better than a pee bottle is to just piss on a tree trunk.
That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it.
So, what are your thoughts on the topic: Can I Pee While Deer Hunting? So as always, I’m curious about your experience and your thoughts on the idea of peeing while out deer hunting.
Which thought process do you subscribe to:
- Are you a pee in the bottle kinda hunter? or 2. When you can’t take it anymore and there is no holding it back, do you just let it flow?
