Conversation around the office water cooler?
Well, not really … the doe was foraging and chewing something when I snapped … -:)
Know this photo is quite similar to others I’ve uploaded — not surprising, though, since this doe [who I called Ethel] was hanging around pretty much the whole time I was camped nearby … and …. must have thought ….. every time she turned around … a camera was clicking … she was a darned good sport about it, though ….
[The diminutive waterfall is snowmelt and just seasonal — was where I got up my camp water — saved climbing down a steep bluff to a nearby lake to get water. For the five days I camped here — there was no one else camped at this off-trail lake. That’s usually the case … for this …. my favorite Trinity Alps lake.}
