I’ve never seen a wild animal so eager to pose for pictures like this doe. She seemed to be really putting on a show for the camera. The large-leaved plant she is chewing on seems to be a False Hellebore. They were growing in clumps all over the highlands and are actually poisonous and can cause symptoms in sheep, goat and cattle that eat the plants. Maybe deer are somewhat immune to it.
