My 2023 hunting journey in Utah began with my archery antelope tag.
It was a thrilling experience filled with many promising stalks and a few misses, but eventually, everything fell into place.
The next chapter was my over-the-counter elk tag. After a rigorous hike, I spotted a majestic 6×7 bull. With my heart pounding, I made a solo 400-yard shot straight to his vital area.
Finally, the buck deer season arrived. Despite the exhaustion, I persevered, trekking through rugged terrains and turning down numerous small bucks. In the end, a lone spike presented an opportunity I couldn’t resist.
Securing this final game completed my Trifecta – three big game animals in one season. The joy was overwhelming. Now, not only do I have a freezer stocked with delicious meat for the year, but also a treasure trove of unforgettable memories from this incredible hunting season.
